Roy has 30 years i the telecommunications industry, including experience in sales, installation, maintenance center operations, and business office/billing and external affairs. Our service representatives are trained on first call resolution and will escalate as appropriate to solve any Issues that affect your communications. If you need to add or delete a phone line or cancel a calling card or have a question about your bill these highly trained professionals are there to help you. FiberNet own and operates it's own 100% digital fiber optic network. This, state of the art network has an OC-48 digital backbone with sonet based technology offering a built in self-healing redundancy . Switchhing & Network Equipment Switch - FiberNet currently operates a Lucent 5ESS digital switch in the Charleston, WV Area. This switch is the brains of the FiberNet network and allows us to process and deliver our telecommunications products and services. Co-Locations - FiberNet is co-located in many Verizon central offices allowing us to offer our customers true dial tone as a facility-based carrier. We are constantly expanding our reach to customers by adding new co-locations. Nokia DSLAM equipment with Cisco Routers - FiberNet utilizes State of the art equipment in all of our switches. SS7 Technology for Improved Network Throughput - FiberNet has deployed Signaling System 7 (SS7) throughout the network wherever available. SS& technology is responsible for quicker call set-up time and improved network throughput. Network Operations Center 24 hour Network Monitoring - The NOC is responsible for monitoring network traffic, alarms, and congestion. FiberNet has established this NOC to guarantee continuous 24 hours a day, 7days a week network monitoring capability.
